Jake Epstein
Best known for his roles on Degrassi: The Next Generation and The Zack Files, this Toronto native has been involed in many other film, television, and stage productions such as Charlie Bartlett (film, 2007), Crown Heights (TV movie, 2004), Girls v. Boys (TV series, 2003), Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire (TV movie, 2000), and Ricky's Room (TV series, 1999). He has also been a guest on various television show; Radio Free Roscoe (1 episode, 2005), The Eleventh Hour (1 episode, 2003), and Real Kids, Real Adventures (1 episode, 1999).
Jake Epstein is also a talented musician. Although, he has not released his own album, he has performed many of his own songs on Degrassi, throughout his years on the show. He did finally get a song released on a soundtrack to the show, released in 2008. The song called "My Window" was performed by Jake in season 7 of the show.
Previously, Jake was the lead singer of a band called Mind the Gap. He is currently the drummer for his band called Funkasaurus Rex. Funkasaurus Rex acted as Craig Manning's backup band in his performance of "My Window" in season 7 of Degrassi: The Next Generation (one of the other band members acted as the drummer, rather than Jake for that performance). Jake is also a talented guitarist.
